Sierra Air is passionate about serving the community and has recently announced the company’s first-ever free furnace giveaway, “New Year, New Furnace.” One deserving, local household will win a free furnace, including installation provided by Sierra Air, a prize valued at over $7,800.
“We’re dedicated to ensuring everyone has access to reliable heating to stay comfortable through northern Nevada’s cold winters,” said Jason Downing, Manager of Operations at Sierra Air. “We’re grateful for this community and what is has brought to our company and team members since we were founded over 35 years ago. This giveaway is a fun way for us to give back, and we hope to provide a cozy haven this winter and beyond for one local family that needs it most.”

During the nomination process, participants will be asked to provide a brief summary about why they believe the individual or family deserves to win, plus contact information.
Nominations opened on Friday, Jan. 31, 2025, and will be accepted through Monday, March 31, 2025 at 11:59pm PST.
After a two-week review process by a panel of Sierra Air team members, one winner will be selected and contacted by Sunday, April 20, 2025. The winner must be a residential homeowner in Sierra Air’s service area which includes Reno, Carson City, Minden, Fallon, Sun Valley, Fernley and more. Only one entry per household is permitted.
