The Nevada Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal crash that happened Tuesday morning south of China Springs Road in Douglas County.
The 3-vehicle crash happened just before 10 a.m. on US-395 and Courtland Lane and blocked traffic flow in both directions. One person was confirmed deceased, according to NHP.
NHP advises to avoid the area and expect lengthy delays. As of 2 p.m. both directions of US-395 remained closed due to the investigation and clean up efforts.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
