C4 – Carson City Card Con brings high-stakes trading card competition and pop-culture energy to Nevada’s capital in a first-of-its-kind weekend event for fans of all ages.

This September, Nevada’s capital is getting a brand-new convention built for players, collectors, and fans as C4 – Carson City Card Con debuts Sept. 19–20 at the Carson City Community Center.

Designed as a competitive trading card game convention with a full pop-culture atmosphere, C4 combines high-stakes tournaments, a packed vendor hall, cosplay, arcade gaming, live presentations, and community-driven experiences — all in one weekend.

The first-year event will feature 60 to 80 vendors offering trading cards across nearly every major game and category, including Pokémon, Magic: The Gathering, Yu-Gi-Oh!, One Piece, Gundam, Digimon, Disney Lorcana, sports cards, vintage collectibles, and more. Select vendors will offer on-site buying, selling, and trading, making C4 a destination for both serious collectors and casual fans.

Competitive play is at the heart of C4. The event will host a Magic: The Gathering Regional Championship Qualifier (RCQ), awarding the winner a sealed box of Avatar Collector Boosters. Additional tournaments across multiple trading card games will run throughout the weekend, all featuring prizes for participants and premium rewards for top competitors. Tournament entry fees are separate from general convention admission.

Outside the tournament space, C4 delivers a full convention experience. An eGaming room hosted by Bus-Kun Arcade will feature titles like Groove Coaster, Dance Dance Revolution, Starwing Paradox, Museca, pinball, and classic arcade cabinets. Cosplay contests and showcases are encouraged, with organizers aiming for cosplayers as far as the eye can see. Main stage presentations and live performances will run throughout both days.

Produced as a joint venture between Kobold’s Caravan and 97toNow Productions, C4 was created to bring a major regional gaming event to Carson City — a space traditionally overshadowed by larger nearby markets. Organizers expect attendees from across Nevada, California, Oregon, Idaho, Utah, and beyond, with a goal of drawing more than 1,000 attendees over the weekend.

C4 – Carson City Card Con runs Sept. 19 and 20 at the Carson City Community Center. Vendor hall hours are 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. daily, with tournaments extending before and after vendor hours. The event is family-friendly, ADA-accessible, and offers free parking. Children 10 and under will receive free general admission to the convention.

General admission tickets are available through Eventeny, with single-day passes priced at $20 and two-day passes at $30. Tournament entry fees are separate from general admission.

Vendor applications are now open through Eventeny. Booth pricing ranges from $150 to $250 depending on size and power needs. Early adopter vendors can take advantage of a $25 per-booth discount through 5:00 p.m. on March 31, after which standard pricing will apply.
