Carson City Fire Department and sheriff’s deputies responded Saturday morning to a possible fire in the 24000 block of Watercress Court. Arriving firefighters report there wasn’t a fire but are investigating an electrical smell coming from the garage.
Dispatch was alerted to the incident at 8:48 a.m. The residents were evacuated and utility companies have been advised.
First responders are scene report a single story residential home. There was no smoke visible coming from the exterior, according to a CCFD battalion chief on scene. Firefighters are investigating an electrical smell coming from the garage.
