Here is the Carson City area road report for the week of Jan. 12-18, 2026. Closures and lane restrictions are expected at the following locations due to road and utility work. Go here to view a map of roadwork this week.
5th Street between Marsh Road and Well Way will have reduced lanes from Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.
5th Street between Stewart Street and Plaza Street will be closed nightly from Monday through Sunday, 8:00 pm to 6:00 am.
7th Street between Stewart Street and Plaza Street will be closed from Monday through Sunday.
Goldfield Avenue between Saliman Road and Carson Meadow Drive will be closed to through traffic from Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Plaza Street between 5th and 7th Street will be closed from Monday through Sunday.
Rawhide Way between Telegraph Street and Goldfield Avenue will be closed to through traffic from Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 5:00 pm.
The Stewart Street/William Street intersection will be closed to all traffic from Monday through Tuesday, 7:00 am to 5:00 pm.
William Street between Carson Street and Stewart Street will be closed to Eastbound traffic from Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 5:00 pm.
William Street between Stewart Street and Roop Street will be closed to Eastbound/Westbound traffic from Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Lane restrictions are expected at the following locations due to road/utility work:
5th Street between Stewart Street and Plaza Street will have lane restrictions with flaggers from Monday through Sunday, 8:00 am to 6:00 pm.
Carson Meadow Drive between 5th Street and Goldfield Avenue will have lane restrictions from December 29, 2025, to January 16, 2026, 7:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Como Street between Carson Meadow Drive and Saliman Road will be reduced to one lane from Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Stewart Street between 5th Street and 8th Street may have reduced lanes with flaggers and lane shifts from Monday through Sunday.
William Street between Carson Street and Saliman Road will have restricted lanes.
