Early voting in Carson City Week 1: Mail-in, in-person totals and the process at Community Center explained
Submitted by Kelsey Penrose on Wed, 10/21/2020 - 3:24pmThe nation is on track for a record-breaking voter turnout, and Nevada is following suit. During the 2016 election, Week 1 of Early Voting returned 8,527 ballots in Carson City, 6,972 in Lyon County, and 7,320 in Douglas County.
Voters can use drive-up ballot drop box at Carson City's Fuji Park, community center

1. Drive-up drop box at the east parking lot of Fuji Park, 601 Old Clear Creek Road (look for the blue tent). 2. Drop box by the east exit of the Carson City Community Center 851 E. William St. (look for the blue tent). 3. At the counter of the Carson City Clerk's office, 885 E. Musser St., Suite 1025.

Long lines await Carson City voters during first Early Election Day

This year there is only one poll site for in person voting, which is being held at the Carson City Community Center located at 851 E. William Street in Carson City.

The State of Nevada through the CARES Act has allocated over $10 million in Coronavirus Relief Funds “CRF” to Carson City. Carson City’s Preliminary Plan of Expenditure allocated $1 million to be awarded to non-profit organizations located in Carson City.
