Sea to Shining Sea riders to bicycle through Carson City

A team of athletes, many of whom are wounded Iraq and Afghanistan veterans, will leave from Golden Gate Bridge on Saturday for World T.E.A.M. Sports’ inaugural bike trek across America called Sea to Shining Sea. The group will arrive in Carson City on May 28 on their way to their Virginia Beach, Va., destination.

The unstoppable evolution of health care reform

These days, I get a chuckle when I see people engaging in philosophical debates over health care reform, or "socialized medicine" as opponents call it.
