Hackathon Jr is coming to Dayton, Nevada in February 2019. Hackathon Jr. is pleased to announce the opportunity for students in the surrounding communities of Lyon County to participate in a Hackathon Jr. event at Riverview Elementary on February 23, 2019.

After five years of leading the Carson City Library, Director Sena Loyd is closing that chapter.

She is leaving in February to take a job in the private sector.

CARSON CITY — Four years ago Nevada entered into a compact to make a historic investment in education and, in return the state committed to holding itself accountable for results. An independent evaluation authorized by the 2017 Nevada Legislature recommended continued funding of all seven categorical education programs it reviewed, citing positive outcomes in each one.
