Each was judged on the display board’s information, artistic value and originality as well as a 5 minute oral presentation.

The school enthusiastically welcomes Dr. Tami Seddon, a Carson Valley native, as their new principal following the retirement of Reverend Juls Clausen. Dr. Seddon, a UC Davis and Stanford alumna, has been with the school since its inception as both a teacher and academic dean.

Dunn had a great college career, winning a national championship with the Seminoles in 1993. He followed his college success with a very good twelve-year career in the NFL. He made the Pro Bowl three times, although his successes were overshadowed by the likes of Shaun Alexander, Adrian Peterson, and Corey Dillon.

Mile High Jazz Band at Comma Coffee is the hot ticket tonight. Such a beautiful day in store, they’ll probably be in the courtyard. Our rivers and reservoirs are filled to the brim: if you ever wanted to learn more about fly-fishing, this is probably a good time for it. The Carson City Fly Fishing Club meets monthly at the Carson City Airport and is a perfect choice for those who already love or are curious about the sport.
