Pablo Cruise headlines A Concert Under the Stars Wednesday
Submitted by Carson Now Reader on Fri, 07/06/2012 - 6:57amDave Jenkins returns for his second performance at A Concert Under the Stars, a fundraiser for The Greenhouse Project, July 11 with his band, Pablo Cruise.
Jenkins performed four years ago for the inaugural event, which takes place at Café at Adele’s, but his love of music began at a tender age.
“My folks had an old pump organ and I couldn’t reach the pedals,” Jenkins said. “I’d play and my sister would pump the pedals for me; I always had an ear and a love for music.”

Mighty Surf Lords to open 'Concert Under The Stars'

The event takes place July 11 at Café at Adele’s and begins with the silent auction at 5 p.m., followed at 6 p.m. with happy, fun-filled music by The Mighty Surf Lords, who also played the venue last year and who open this year for Jaime Kyle and Pablo Cruise.

Former Employees Still Owed Pay From Well-Connected Las Vegas Gaming Company

One of the former TableMAX Gaming employees, Tyson Wrensch, said efforts to contact current company officials to resolve the compensation issue have not produced any results so far.
