Carson library director to speak at Monday's Democratic luncheon

Joy's resume includes experience as a library aide, library assistant, academic student reference librarian, assistant library director, digital services librarian, assistant to the state librarian and deputy library director.

School finances the topic at Monday's Democratic luncheon

Having served as the district's chief financial officer for eight years prior to taking over the top job, he has a detailed understanding of where the available revenue covers the cost of state mandates and where it doesn't. Exactly where the money and the mandates need to be brought into harmony will be addressed in Part Two of the Superintendent's PowerPoint presentation.
