Carson City Sheriff's arrest log: Man arrested after driving on sidewalk

A 46 year-old male transient was arrested at 5:44 p.m. Thursday evening in the area of West Fifth and South Nevada streets on multiple misdemeanor violations, a Carson City Sheriff's deputy said, including driving his motor home on a sidewalk.

Adele's Celebrity Chef and Harvest Dinner to Benefit the Greenhouse Project

Tickets are now on sale for the annual Celebrity Chef and Harvest Dinner, which takes place Nov. 7 at Cafe at Adele’s. This is one of three fundraisers conducted each year for The Greenhouse Project, whose mission it is to continue “growing a greener and healthier community,” according to Karen Abowd, board president, who co-owns Cafe at Adele’s with her husband, Chef Charlie Abowd.
