Signups underway for Capital City Hoops summer basketball camp at MAC in Carson City

All boys and girls interested in basketball are encouraged to join the fun! Camp includes individual skill building, shooting competitions, team games, camp speakers, and camp prizes. A camp t-shirt is included with paid registration.
Carson City man jailed for attempting to return stolen items using a stolen receipt

61-year-old Carson City man arrested by SET deputies for sexually assaulting a minor in Lyon County
Submitted by Kelsey Penrose on Sat, 06/15/2019 - 10:47am— A 61-year-old Carson City man was arrested in the area of Hot Springs and Nye Roads for suspicion of sexually assaulting a child under the age of 14.
According to the report, Special Enforcement Team deputies arrested Jose Joe Gonzales Jr. on a Lyon County Warrant for the offense after learning he was driving a 1990 Chrysler sedan in the area.
Deputies located the vehicle and took him into custody on the warrant.
Bail: $250,000

According to the callers, the vehicle was “all over the road” and had struck construction material while coming down from Spooner Summit.

The first column defined the public interest as mainly maximizing economic growth. That piece and the second showed that the economic policies, practices and institutions that maximize growth also promote fairness among individuals. They also debunked obsessions with income inequality.
