Light snow showers will continue today and and pick up tonight with less than an inch possible. As always be careful out on the roads. The U.S. Forest Service Lake Tahoe Basin Management Unit began the sale of Christmas tree permits on Wednesday, Nov. 14, 2018. Permits to cut Christmas trees on the Carson and Bridgeport Ranger Districts of the Humboldt-Toiyabe National Forest have been available since Nov. 1.
