Carson City Convention and Visitors Bureau launches new seasonal promotion video
The Carson City Convention and Visitors Bureau has launched the first of several video promotions on Youtube.
Produced by THS Visual Production's Todd Simon, who also does video production for the Nevada Commission on Tourism, the 2 minute, 53 second spot is a seasonal highlight of Carson City, said Joel Dunn, executive director of CCCVB.
The video showcases Carson City's new branding that highlights Carson City as the hub of all outdoor recreation, arts, culture and historic activities. It features skiing and boarding at Lake Tahoe, mountain biking, Carson City golf courses, the V&T railroad, restaurants and museums.
It will be showcased on the revamp of its CCCVB website, which will be launched in 2-3 weeks and embedded in a mobile app that will be launched in 2 to 3 weeks.
"For me the video showcases the quality of life and outdoor opportunities in the region, not only for vistors but for residents," he said. "We showcase Carson City as a great place to live, and when you have a great place to live, it shows you have a great place to visit."
