Carson City deputies arrest woman for second domestic battery
A 34-year-old Carson City woman was arrested for domestic battery second offense after allegedly attacking her ex.
According to the report, deputies were dispatched to a residence on Wednesday on a report of a domestic battery. Upon arrival they spoke with the reporting party who said the woman is the mother of their child, who had arrived at the home uninvited.
The man said the woman had moved out in September. The man said that when he entered his home and closed the door, the woman also entered and began striking him in the head.
Deputies observed scratch marks on the right side of his neck. He declined medical attention.
The man said his roommate had also been attacked and had recorded the incident on his cellphone. The roommate said the woman had turned towards him and attacked him, knocking the cell phone out of his hand.
The roommate also had scratches on the left side of his neck, but said he did not want to press charges and declined to complete a written statement.
On Thursday, the woman called deputies and agreed to turn herself in. She was taken into custody without issue.

— A 53-year-old Carson City man was arrested for DUI alcohol first at 2:45 p.m. Thursday afternoon after striking a light pole with his vehicle.
Deputies asked the man what had happened, who told them he had been going to the Post Office when he started “coughing really bad and blacked out.” Deputies could smell an alcoholic beverage coming from his breath.
When deputies told him they didn’t believe him, he admitted to having a couple beers at home.
He blew a PBT which resulted in a 0.139 BAC, and was taken into custody without issue.
Bail: $1,040
— A 24-year-old transient man was arrested in the 700 block of E. College Parkway for two counts of battery, destruction of property, and trespassing.
According to the report, the man was arrested after deputies were sent to a local department store in reference to a man suffering a mental break who was fighting with staff.
The man broke several items, yelled at employees, and began physically fighting with some staff members.
Deputies located the man on College Parkway and took him into custody.
