— Washoe Lake State Park celebrates return of 'Trail of Lights: A Drive-through Holiday Celebration.’ Enjoy some holiday cheer at Washoe Lake State Park with a sparkling drive-through festival of lights. Carson City Symphony's Youth Strings and Joyful Noise Carson Children’s Choir present “LatinXpressions III," Thursday, Dec. 9. Symphony Youth Strings and Joyful Noise Carson Children’s Choir, after-school educational programs of the Carson City Symphony Association, present "LatinXpressions III" on Thursday, Dec. 9, at 6:30 p.m. at the Carson City Community Center, 851 E. — Weekend of family fun begins Friday with Homestead Holidays at Carson City's Silver Saddle Ranch. Carson City Parks, Recreation and Open Space department invites the community to its 2nd annual Homestead Holidays celebration at Silver Saddle Ranch happening this Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings, Dec. 10-12.
This three-night event is from 5 to 8 p.m. each evening. The event will offer plenty of family-friendly activities and old-fashioned holiday cheer. To learn more click here.

— Carson Christmas Craft Fair at Fuji Park happening Saturday, Dec. 11. Make your way down to Carson City’s Fuji Park Exhibit Hall Building, located at 601 Old Clear Creek Rd. to experience the 5th Annual Carson Christmas Craft Fair. The Carson Christmas Craft Fair takes place on Saturday, December 11 beginning at 10 a.m. and running through 5 p.m., where residents will be able to find a unique, one-of-a-kind gift for their loved ones.
