Did you feel it? 3.18 magnitude earthquake gives south Carson City a Tuesday morning shake
A 3.18 magnitude quake gave southeast Carson City a bit of a good morning wake up shake Tuesday.
According to the University of Nevada seismology lab, the earthquake came on at 7:14 am this morning, 4.1 miles south-southeast of Carson City. The depth was 8.41 km.
There have been dozens of quakes in the last couple of months in our area, according to the lab, but they generally stay beneath a 2 magnitude, so most people don’t feel them.
No damage has been reported.
