Carson City detectives seek identity of suspects involved in stabbing overnight at casino
The Carson City Sheriff's Office Investigations Division is seeking the identity of two suspects involved in a stabbing that happened late Wednesday night at a North Edmonds Drive casino.
At approximately 10 p.m., Carson City Sheriff’s deputies responded to the Jackpot Crossing Casino for a report of a stabbing.
Deputies located a 29-year male victim with a stab wound to his neck. The victim was taken to a Reno hospital for treatment for non-life threatening injuries. He was later released from the hospital.
According to Carson City Sheriff's Office Detective Sam Hatley, the investigation showed the victim was involved in an altercation with two male suspects at the neighboring Slot World Casino.
Casino staff escorted the two men from the casino where they moved to the Jackpot Crossing parking lot, 1897 North Edmonds Drive, where a fight ensued and the victim was stabbed in the neck.
The two male suspects then left the area in a dark colored vehicle. The Carson City Sheriff’s Office Investigation Division is seeking to identify the two suspects.
