Virginia City honors veterans Thursday with annual Veterans Day Parade
Historic Virginia City takes pride in its patriotic atmosphere. Stroll down the wooden board sidewalks and see the flags honoring those who gave their lives in service and those inactive duty lining the streets.
To honor those who have served and are currently serving our nation, Virginia City invites visitors and locals alike to attend its annual Veterans Day Parade this Thursday, Nov. 11 beginning at 11 a.m. on C Street. This is the parade the town is most proud to hold each year.
Virginia City encourages visitors to attend and show their support. The Veterans Day Parade is open to walking groups and vehicles. Those who are interested in participating in the parade are welcome to register through noon Nov. 10 through the Virginia City Visitors Center.
