Man accused of possessing thousands of child pornography images now in Carson City Jail
Patrick Jason Williams, was extradited at approximately 11:30 a.m. Friday via airline from Hilo Hawaii and taken to the Carson City detention facility. He was booked into jail on a Carson City Justice Court warrant for possession of visual presentation depicting sexual conduct of children under the age of 16. His first appearance is scheduled for Wednesday, Nov. 5 and his preliminary hearing is scheduled for Nov. 20 at 10 a.m.
Williams, who had lived in Carson City in the 3000 block of Thurman Circle, was picked up last month on the big Island of Hawaii where his mother lives.
He waived his right to extradition based on a Governor’s Warrant, said Carson City Assistant District Attorney Mark Krueger. Williams is charged by the state of Nevada with 19 counts of possession of visual presentation depicting sexual conduct of persons under 16 years of age.
There were thousands of images and hundreds of videos, according to the criminal complaint filed in Carson City by Krueger. See the criminal complaint below.
