Inaugural Nevada Day children’s event hosted by Downtown Vintage Market includes climbing wall, mini golf and more
Carson City’s Downtown Vintage Market began selling their wares adjacent to the Carson City Farmer’s Market only this year. Now, they’re diving into Nevada Day with a event perfect for kids and grown ups alike.
From 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, there will be two large parking lots behind the Laxalt building filled with food trucks, pop ups and vendors, with $2 coffee in the morning and $6 beer and wine all day ($5 with an official Nevada Day cup!).
For the kids, there will be mini golf, a climbing wall, face painting and corn hole, and from 2 to 4 p.m., come see the UNR Mackey Muckers in the east lot as they teach kids and parents alike how to pan for gold.
Live music will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. in the east Stewart lot beer garden.
