BOOnanza returns Thursday to Mills Park with free trick or treating, games and more
The BOOnanza brings thousands of local children and their caregivers to a free, family-friendly trick-or-treating extravaganza hosted by Carson City Parks, Recreation and Open Space in which over 50 local businesses, nonprofits, and various local government departments give out candy and treats from their decorated spooky booths. The event runs from 4 to 7 p.m.
Since moving the event into Mills Park proper, in addition to candy, participants have been able to ride the Mills Park Train, be spooked from Youth Theater Carson City, play carnival games, make crafts, and more!
Food and drink will be available for purchase from NV Nosh, Kona Ice, The Bus Boy, and Chic Fil A.
Don’t forget to vote in the Best Booth Contest (keep an eye out for Carson Now’s booth as well!)
