Rehearsals underway for this weekend’s Aviation Roundup Air Show at the Minden-Tahoe Airport
The Aviation Roundup Air Show at the Minden-Tahoe Airport brings “Aviation, Celebration and Commemoration” to the Carson Valley this weekend, October 13-14.
In addition to vendors, games, food and fun, the show includes Red Bull aerobatic planes, sky divers, air craft from World War II, the beloved U.S. Navy Blue Angels, and more!
Rehearsals for this weekend’s show took place Friday to a small audience to “work any kinks out” before the full show beginning Saturday morning.
Gates for the airshow will open at 10 a.m. on both Saturday and Sunday, and the airshow will start around 11:30 a.m. The starting time is subject to change due to scheduling and weather, so please plan on being ready by 11 a.m.
Coolers and pets are prohibited at the airshow. Authentic service animals are welcome, but please remember that the ramp will be hot, crowded, and very noisy. Air shows are not a nice environment for animals.
Tickets can be purchased here, or at the gate.
The Minden-Tahoe Airport is located at 1146 Airport Road in Minden, off of Highway 395. For more information, go to http://www.aviationroundup.com.
