Carson City man arrested for disorderly conduct after sleeping outside convenience store
A 28-year-old Carson City man was arrested in the 3700 block of N. Carson Street Thursday night for disorderly conduct and a warrant out of Carson City Justice Court.
According to the arrest report, deputies were dispatched to a local convenience store for a report of an intoxicated subject sleeping outside the store on the sidewalk.
While enroute, a deputy on scene advised that the man as unconscious but breathing.
Upon arrival, the reporting deputies observed the man sitting down and leaning against the front of the convenience store. The man attempted to stand up, but was unsteady on his feet and could not maintain his balance. He had a strong odor of alcoholic beverage emitting from him.
The Carson City Fire Department arrived on scene and medically cleared him. The man told deputies he had no one to pick him up and no one to care for him. He said he could not remember where he lived and couldn’t remember his apartment number.
Dispatch then advised that he had a day service only Nevada Highway Patrol warrant out of Carson City Justice Court for a failure to appear. The man was placed under arrest for disorderly conduct as well as the warrant.
He was taken into custody without issue.
