South Lake Tahoe man jailed for suspicion of murdering girlfriend
Police in South Lake Tahoe are investigating the death of a 70-year-old woman and have arrested the man she lived with for suspicion of murder, authorities said Wednesday.
Paul Hollingsworth, 60, was arrested for suspicion of homicide and was booked in El Dorado County Jail. The victim died Wednesday morning after she was found Tuesday at the residence the couple shared in the 3600 block of Aspen Avenue, according to South Lake Tahoe police.

Officers initiated lifesaving measures as South Lake Tahoe Fire Rescue and Cal Tahoe JPA EMS Ambulance were called to the scene.
The victim was transported to Barton Memorial Hospital and later flown via Calstar Helicopter to Renown Hospital in Reno. The victim succumbed to her injuries Wednesday morning.
