Carson City arrests: Man booked for felony escape by a prisoner
A 29-year-old man was booked Tuesday for a felony warrant alleging escape by a prisoner, a Carson City sheriff’s deputy said.
Billy Joe Williamson of Reno was served the warrant at 10:57 a.m. He was brought in to the Carson City Jail facility by the Nevada Department of Corrections where he was an inmate. He is being held without bail in lieu of a hearing. The warrant was issued Oct. 2, 2018 out of Carson City Justice Court.
In other arrests:
— A 42-year-old Carson City woman was booked into jail Tuesday, 4:48 p.m. for a misdemeanor warrant alleging violation of a suspended sentence, a sheriff’s deputy said.
The woman was arrested in Washoe County on Oct. 8 and had been waiting for transport to the Carson City Jail.
The cash-only warrant was issued Feb. 21, 2016 out of Carson City Justice Court. Bail: $1,000.
