Carson City holds neighborhood road funding workshop Wednesday and again Oct. 9
Carson City and the Carson City Public Works Department will host a public workshop this Wednesday and again Oct. 9 for options related to funding local and neighborhood roads and roads-related functions in Carson City.
The Carson City Transportation Division is exploring financial options to fund road improvements and repairs throughout Carson City. The workshop will include display stations illustrating examples of various road conditions; road maintenance, rehabilitation and repair efforts; and funding options being considered for public review and input.
Two identical workshops are planned for those wishing to attend. The public is encouraged to attend a workshop to learn about road and transportation related functions as well as provide input on possible funding options. Meetings will be held:
