Pilot sought for seat on Carson City Airport Authority
The Carson City Board of Supervisors is seeking applications from persons interested in serving on the Carson City Airport Authority as a pilot who operates aircraft at the airport.
The Airport Authority is a 7-member board that oversees all matters pertaining to the Carson City airport. Meetings are held the third Wednesday of every month in the Sierra Room at the Community Center.
Applicants must be willing to serve approximately 10 to 16 hours a month. There is one open position, to fill a term ending October 2027:
One pilot is sought and will be appointed by the board of supervisors. The person must own and operate an aircraft based at the Carson City Airport.
Applications will be accepted until Oct. 4, 2023. Interviews for this volunteer position are tentatively planned to be held at the regularly scheduled Board of Supervisors meeting on Thursday, Oct. 19, 2023. Go here to apply.
