Carson City Senior Center hosts grand re-opening and ribbon cutting Friday
A ribbon cutting celebration will be held this Friday, Sept. 15 at 11 a.m. to celebrate Carson City Senior Center’s brand new renovations.
Funded by Carson City and the State of Nevada Aging and Disability Services Division, complete renovations have been made to the dining room and kitchen areas, lobby and restrooms.
The project was completed by H+K Architects and Shaheen Beauchamp Builders.
Members of the Carson City Chamber of Commerce and Carson City leadership will be on site to help usher in the new era for the senior center, with lunch served following the event to commemorate the new kitchen.
For individuals aged 60 and over lunch is donation based, and for 59 and under it is $6 per person.
The Carson City Senior Center is located at 911 Beverly Drive in Carson City.
