Carson City man arrested after calling police on man who 'kept giving him looks'
A 49-year-old Carson City man was arrested Thursday evening in the 1900 block of N. Fall Street on Tahoe Township traffic warrants after deputies responded to a call regarding possible threats.
When deputies arrived, they made contact with the man who told them a man had been coming around his house and threatening him.
He said the man would sit around the corner and give him “looks,” indicating he wanted to fight. According to deputies, he was intoxicated and not making a lot of sense.
He had two warrants, both for failing to appear on traffic warrants out of Douglas County and Nevada Highway Patrol.
Bail: $850, cash only
In other arrests:
—A 37-year-old Gardnerville woman was booked on a warrant for violating conditions of a suspended sentence Thursday at noon after being transported to the Carson City jail.
She had been in the Douglas County jail dealing with charges there before being taken to Carson City on her violation warrant.
Her violations include failure to obey all laws, possession of a controlled substance, and possession of paraphernalia.
Bail: $1,000 cash only
