Physician, author and speaker to discuss 'Rewiring and Refiring to Stay Young' at Carson City Rotary meeting
While there is no fountain of youth, there are ways to help you feel your best. If you are over 50 or approaching that age, consider joining the Rotary Club of Carson City at its next meeting Tuesday, August 31.
Karen Gedney MD, Board Certified in Internal Medicine as well as Anti-aging and Regenerative Medicine, will give a presentation entitled “Rewiring and Refiring to Stay Young.”
After a 30-year career as a Physician in the Nevada Prison System, Gedney reinvented herself as an author, speaker, mentor and even a prison tour guide. She now gives presentations that range from Holistic Prison Reform to "Rewiring and Refiring to Stay Young." Karen is author of the books, “30 years Behind Bars” and “Trials of a Prison Doctor.”
The public is invited to join the meeting which begins with an optional lunch at noon on Tuesday, August 31, in the Grand Ballroom at the Brewery Arts Center, 449 West King Street, Carson City. Anyone interested in attending should contact the club at carsoncitynvrotary@gmail.com.
