Carson City's Grocery Outlet is moving to new Highway 50, William Street location
Carson City’s Grocery Outlet will be moving to a new location at the Plaza 50 Shopping Center on Highway 50 at the east end of William Street.
“We’re really excited to have a newer building to better serve the community, and to have all new refrigeration units to keep better quality of our products,” said owner Bobbie Johnson. “It will be a great location for the community to drum up new traffic as well.”
The new location is within the shopping center that use to house Scolari's, across from the Gold Dust West near Capriotti's and next to the 99 Cents Only Store. The address of the shopping center is 2170, Highway 50.
An exact time as to when the move will be completed and the store opened is undetermined. According to Johnson, they're currently shooting for the next couple of months. Follow their Facebook page here for updates.
It is unknown what will happen to the building that has occupied Grocery Outlet at 1831 N Carson St., for more than two decades, as the current Grocery Outlet owners do not own the building itself.
