Carson City emergency crews respond to vehicle crash involving scooter rider on US-50 East
Carson City Fire Department and sheriff's deputies responded late Thursday afternoon to a vehicle crash involving a scooter rider in the 3000 block of Highway 50 East near the Dollar General.
An air ambulance was ordered. The crash happened at around 4:45 p.m. The injured rider suffered from a possible seizure. He was flown by Care Flight to the trauma ward at Renown Medical Center in Reno. His condition was stable at the time he was flown to RMC, according to a Carson City Fire Department battalion chief.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
