State Library lunch series Sept. 10 to feature acclaimed Nevada poet, author and professor
The Nevada State Library will feature author, professor and poet Lindsay Wilson at its Sept. 10 “Nevada in Small Bites” book talk series.
Wilson, an English professor at Truckee Meadows Community College, is the former Poet Laureate of Reno, Nevada. His first full length collection is No Elegies, and his new chapbook is Because the Dirt Here is Poor. His poetry has appeared in The Missouri Review Poem of the Week, Verse Daily, The Carolina Quarterly, The Bellevue Literary Review, among others.
The “Nevada in Small Bites” book talk series is held on the second Tuesday of each month. Bring your lunch and join us at noon for conversations, guest authors, and historians to learn a bit more about of Nevada's history, literature, and community. The event is open to everyone.
