CANCELED DUE TO SMOKE: Carson City park rangers host hike under full Sturgeon Moon this Sunday night

Join the Carson City Park Rangers this Sunday, August 22 for a summer evening hike underneath the full Sturgeon Moon.
Park rangers will be adventuring up Prison Hill from the south side and learning about the cultural history of Prison Hill. The hike is considered "Very Difficult" under the IMBA Trail Rating system.
Expect steep terrain, sandy sections, and rocky obstacles along a two mile loop.
The event is from 9 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. Meet at the OHV Parking area of Prison Hill located 1 mile South on Golden Eagle Lane from Snyder Avenue.
Need To Know:

— Minors under 18 must be accompanied by an adult
— Dogs are welcome but must remain on a six foot leash
