Smoky skies Monday around Carson Valley, Carson City continues to degrade air quality

The first-ever Carson City Community Garage Sale was held Saturday throughout the Nevada state capital, a community-wide event organized by the Carson City Department of Parks, Recreation and Open Space.

A 26 year-old Carson City man was taken into custody Friday afternoon at 2:38 p.m. in the 10 block of Edizi Circle for felony possession of stolen property and misdemeanor obtaining money under false pretenses, a Carson City Sheriff's deputy said.
