Carson City Humane Society's Pet of the Week: Milo
Happy Thursday, Carson City. This week, Milo would love to meet you and find his fur-ever home. He wants to impress you with the tricks he knows, like sit, stay, come, roll over, and shake! Milo’s favorite toy is his Kong, and he does well in the car, although he barks only when he sees trucks.
Milo is excited about life, and this bundle of energy will keep you on your toes. He’s always ready for a game of tug-of-war and he never loses (but don’t worry, he’s not a sore winner!)
Milo has been in the Carson City shelter since late April.
Milo wants you to know this about him: “I am an amazing and unique dog who will make you smile and laugh every day. I have mastered the snuggle and am a training extraordinaire that thrives with a schedule mixing mental and physical exercise with plenty of daytime napping.”
Milo is free to adopt from the Carson City shelter as adoption fees on adult dogs, cats, and small animals are currently being waived. You can meet Milo by visiting the shelter, located at 549 Airport Road in Carson City, or by calling (775) 887-2171 to find out more.
Also, it’s almost time for the Duck Race, one of Milo’s favorite events! It’s one of the biggest fundraisers for the Shelter and takes place August 12 at Wingfield Park in Reno. You can purchase ducks for a chance to win a new 2023 Toyota Corolla or $15,000 cash, all generously donated by Carson City Toyota. Click here to learn more!
