Carson City sheriff’s arrest log: Woman jailed for domestic battery, resisting
A 49-year-old Carson City woman was arrested Monday night in the 600 block of Carrie Drive on suspicion of domestic battery and resisting arrest.
According to the booking report, officers were called to a residence for a domestic battery in which a roommate said he was assaulted by a roommate who was moving out of the residence.
Deputies arrived and the suspect had left. Officers learned the woman allegedly grabbed him by the shirt and hit him with her right hand to the face. The officer could not see any physical injury but did observe the man’s shirt was consistent with someone grabbing and pulling it, the arrest report states.
Officers returned to the residence when the suspect arrived later. She was uncooperative with deputies who asked to speak with her. When she attempted to leave, an officer secured her arm to escort her out of the gated area of the property. The woman’s behavior continued, and was taken into custody at 11:50 p.m., where she attempted to kick an officer and refused to get into the patrol car. Bail: $3,549.
— A 24-year-old Carson City man was arrested Monday, 10:14 a.m. in the area of Northgate and Nye for resisting a public officer and a stop sign violation. According to the arrest report, the man went through a stop sign on his bicycle and would not stop for an officer who attempted to pull him over.
The man also riding with a baseball bat. When the officer asked him why he had the bat, the man said he was going to his aunt’s house to break all of his belongings. He was verbally uncooperative, yelled and resisted officers attempting to speak with him. Bail: $464.
— A 34-year-old man was arrested Monday, 5:45 p.m. in the area of Roberta Way on a misdemeanor warrant, violation of a suspended sentence, issued April 15, 2013 out of Carson City Justice Court. Bail: $3,000.
— A 21-year-old Carson City man was arrested Monday, 4:01 p.m. in the area of Winnie Lane and Victoria Lane on a misdemeanor warrant, contempt of court, issued May 10, 2016 out of Carson City Justice Court. Bail; $5,000.
