Carson City sheriff's SET team shuts down marijuana grow operation
Carson City Sheriff’s Office Special Enforcement Team raided a Carson City apartment Thursday, finding a high tech marijuana grow operation, more than 50 plants, hash oil and 19 ounces of processed marijuana, a Carson City sheriff’s deputy said.
The bust was in the 800 block of Saliman Road. A 61-year-old man was arrested and faces charges of operating a drug house, possession of marijuana for sale, and possession of marijuana.
According to a Carson City SET deputy, neighbors had made complaints to apartment management due to the smell, and on Thursday the sheriff’s office was contacted after the irrigation system in the apartment flooded.
The case remains under investigation. The man’s name has not been released.
