Former cook accused of multiple burglaries at Carson City restaurant
A 55-year-old former cook was arrested Wednesday for alleged multiple burglaries at a Carson City restaurant that began in September of last year.
Michael Stehlin, a former cook at The Fox Brew Pub on South Carson Street, was arrested Wednesday afternoon following a brief foot pursuit with Carson City Sheriff's Office detectives and deputies.
He faces four felony burglary charges, a felony drug charge, gross misdemeanor possession of burglary tools, obstructing an officer and two misdemeanor offenses.
Burglaries at the business date back to September 2019. The investigation included surveillance footage and an arrest warrant that was served Wednesday, in which the suspect took off running from officers and then was located and taken into custody in the area of Curry and Robinson streets.
Details of the arrest are forthcoming. Bail: $100,000.
