Carson City road report for the week of June 25 to July 2
Here is the Carson City area road report for the week of June 25 to July 2, 2023. Closures are expected at the following locations due to road and utility work:
— La Loma Drive at Desatoya Drive intersection will be closed, Thursday, 7:00am to 5:30pm for roadway improvements, follow detour signing.
— Monte Rosa Drive at Desatoya Drive intersection will be closed, Thursday, 7:00am to 5:30pm for roadway improvements, follow detour signing.
— Diane Drive between Colorado Street and Lucas Drive will be closed, Tuesday, 7:00am to 5:30pm for roadway reconstruction.
— Baker Drive between Colorado Street and Armstrong Lane will be closed, Thursday, 7:00am to 5:30pm for roadway reconstruction.
— Merrill Road will be closed at McDowell Road, Monday, 7:00am to 5:00pm for utility work. Resident access only.
Meadowbrook closed between Colorado Street and Kenny Street, Tuesday, 7:00am to 5;30pm.
— Saturday street closures are expected in the area of 2nd Street, Division Street, Thompson Street, Minnesota Street, and King Street Saturday 7:00am to 6:00pm, for a special event.
Lane restrictions are expected at the following locations due to road/utility work:
— Colorado Street between S. Carson Street and Saliman Road will have narrowed lanes, Monday through Thursday, 7:00am to 5:30pm for roadway reconstruction.
— California Street between Colorado Street and Industrial Park Drive will have narrowed lanes, Monday through Thursday, 7:00am to 5:30pm for roadway reconstruction.
— Desatoya Drive between Siskiyou Drive and Ladera Drive will have narrowed lanes, Thursday, 7:00am to 5:30pm for utility work.
— Birch Street from Colorado Street will have narrowed lanes, Tuesday and Wednesday, 7:00am to 5:30pm for roadway reconstruction.
— East William Street will have lane restrictions between Carson Street and Saliman Road between the hours of 7am and 5pm on Thursday for concrete repairs to the sidewalk.
— Fleischmann Way, Tahoe Drive, Marlette Drive, and Topaz Drive at Mountain Street may encounter 15-minute delays, Wednesday, 7:00am to 5:30pm for roadway reconstruction.
