Carson City Humane Society's Pet of the Week: Chevy
If you’re looking for a savvy senior pup, we highly suggest meeting Chevy. He is 10 years old and loves playing in the yard with dog staff. He has been described as a good guard dog and is fantastic at riding in a car. Chevy also knows sit, stay, and come in both Spanish and English!
Chevy is one calm, cool guy. He’s lived with cats, kids and dogs, and was a friend to all. He came into the shelter in mid-April after the death of his owner, and would really love to find a new home soon.
We sat down with Chevy for an exclusive interview and here’s what he had to bark:
”People say I am the smartest dog ever! I love to interact with you and will try to spend as much time as possible with you. I am inquisitive and will follow you all over the house just to see what you're up to. I am big on routines, and I will be there first thing in the morning before you get your coffee and want to say good night every night at bed time.”
We hope this tug-of-war champ is in a loving home very soon.
If you think Chevy might be perfect for your home, please come visit and adopt him at the Nevada Humane Society Carson City Animal Shelter. You can visit the Carson City branch of the Nevada Humane Society at 549 Airport Road in Carson City, or by calling (775) 887-2171.
