Carson City area casinos see 7 percent April gaming revenue gain
Carson City area casinos, which also includes those in Gardnerville, Minden and other areas of Douglas County except for Stateline at Lake Tahoe, took in gaming revenue, also known as “win” of $9,214,172 for the month.
Elsewhere, casinos at south shore Lake Tahoe saw an 12.61 percent increase, while north shore casinos saw a 1.14 increase.
Statewide, Nevada’s nonrestricted gaming licensees reported a total “gaming win” of $953,698,753 for April 2018. This amounts to a 7.57 percent increase compared to April 2017, when licensees reported a gaming win of $886,561,704.
For the fiscal year (July 1, 2017 through April 30, 2018), gaming win has increased 2.91 percent.
