UPDATE 5:15PM: The suspect in the robbery at Wells Fargo Bank that happened at 4:18 p.m. is in custody for suspicion of robbery, Carson City Sheriff's Office Lt. Daniel Gonzales confirmed. We will update as more information becomes available.

UPDATE 4:55PM: A suspect who matches the description has been detained and was reportedly "apologizing" for his actions, according to a CCSO deputy.

Carson City Sheriff's Office deputies were called Tuesday afternoon to a robbery at Wells Fargo bank in the 1500 block of East William Street.
The robbery was reported at 4:18 p.m. The robber made off with an unknown amount of cash and no weapon was seen. The suspect fled on foot. He is described as 5 feet 7 inches with dyed orange hair and wearing a winter blue jacket. No injuries were reported.
