Carson City man arrested for DUI causing death
A Carson City man was arrested in the 3100 block of Debbie Way Thursday morning for a DUI causing death warrant and failure to exercise due care warrant.
Mark Riesen was arrested after deputies were dispatched to the residence to complete a warrant service.
Both warrants were issued out of Carson City Justice Court on May 1, 2019.
He was taken into custody without incident.
Bail: $30,000
— A 40-year-old Silver Springs woman was booked on two additional warrants while in custody at the Carson City Jail.
Elsie Lee Ventress was already in custody on unrelated matters when deputies were made aware of two outstanding, confirmed warrants issued out of the Canal ownership Justice Court of Lyon County, a felony and a misdemeanor.
Both warrants were issued Thurs., May 16.
Bail: $107,495
— A 26-year-old Carson City woman was arrested in the area of Koontz Lane and S. Carson Street for a contempt of court warrant.
The woman was arrested after deputies ran a vehicle’s license plate, which showed the owner had a warrant out for her arrest.
The warrant was issued on April 10. She was arrested without incident.
