Carson City arrests: Suspect jailed for allegedly threatening maintenance man with knife
A 49-year-old Carson City man was arrested Monday for suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon after allegedly threatening a maintenance man with a knife at a North Carson Street RV park, a Carson City sheriff’s deputy said.
Arthur Robert Tremblay was taken into custody at 12:29 p.m. in the 2400 block of North Carson Street. According to the arrest report, Tremblay and the victim exchanged words, with Tremblay allegedly opening a “tactical” knife and threatening the maintenance man with it.
The maintenance man said he had been pulling weeds when he heard the man arguing with a woman. He said he called the owner of the property to ask Tremblay to leave and that’s when the problems started.
The maintenance man told deputies he did not back down after the knife was pulled on him and raised his gardening hoe. The altercation de-escalated when the maintenance man called the sheriff’s office.
The suspect, who was intoxicated, was arrested for his alleged threatening actions with a knife. Bail: $20,000.
