Carson City Sheriff's arrest log: Multiple people arrested on warrants
The Carson City Sheriff's Office served local bench warrants Friday, Carson City Sheriff's deputies said, taking into custody two individuals on outstanding misdemeanor charges issued out of the Carson City Justice Court.
The first warrant served was on a 27 year-old Carson City man, who was served in the 3500 block of Arrowhead Drive Friday morning at 10 a.m., the arrest report said.
The active warrant was confirmed through dispatch and deputies made contact with and identified the subject, placing him into custody and transporting him to the Carson City Jail without incident. Bail: $500.
The second warrant served was on a 36 year-old Dayton woman, accused of petit larceny through the Carson City Justice Court, the arrest report said.
The woman was arrested at the Carson City Jail Friday morning at 11:05 a.m.
Upon identifying the woman and confirming the warrant through dispatch, deputies placed her in handcuffs for booking. Bail: $250.
In other arrests:
— A 52 year-old Fernley man was arrested Friday evening at 6:50 p.m. in the 2700 block of Conestoga Drive for misdemeanor violation of bail conditions after he was found to be intoxicated, a Carson City Sheriff's deputy said.
According to the arrest report, deputies were dispatched to a business in North Carson City after a subject was reported to be found sleeping in a car.
Upon arrival, deputies made contact with the subject, who was found to be sleeping in the passenger seat of a rental car, the report said.
Law enforcement noted the man to have a strong odor of alcohol on his person. He admitted to drinking.
A records check through dispatch showed the man to be on active probation through the Department of Alternative Sentencing (DAS) with a no alcohol clause.
The man consented to a preliminary breath test, which showed breath alcohol content of .246 percent.
DAS requested deputies arrest the subject for violation of his bail conditions. He was then handcuffed and transported to the Carson City Jail for booking. Bail: $3,000.
— A 30 year-old Carson City man was arrested at the Carson City Jail Friday morning at 8:55 a.m. after being transported from Douglas County on multiple active misdemeanor failure to appear warrants issued out of the Carson City Justice Court, a Carson City Sheriff's deputy said.
Upon confirming the subject's identity and verifying the warrants through dispatch, he was placed into custody at the jail and booked. Bail: $740.
