A Midsummer Night's Dream youth production May 12-13 at Carson City's Brewery Arts Center

LTI Educational Commonwealth is pleased to announce our production of Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream. The cast is comprised of youth ages 10 and up who have been studying Shakespeare's plays and influence in their class this year.

Dueling Doodlebugs at the Railroad Museum

Take a ride on a historic Virginia & Truckee McKeen Motor Car built in 1910, a 1926-built Edwards Motor Car, or both! Purchase a wristband and get unlimited motor car rides and museum admission. Wristbands are $15 for ages 18 and over, $10 for museum members and ages 12 to 17, $5 for ages 4-11, and free for ages 3 and under. Standard motor car ticket prices and museum admission are available, as well.

    On Saturday, April 20, Carson City Community Gardeners and the UNR Extension Master Gardeners came together to get the Community Garden ready for the growing season. For two hours they removed weeds, spread mulch and prepped their garden beds for the season.

    Douglas County officials have announced that construction will begin soon on the first phase of the Muller Parkway Project. The project aims to alleviate traffic congestion in Minden and Gardnerville, offering an alternative route to the main U.S. Route 395 through town.
