Carson City retention pond monsters shrink since April 1 shark sighting
There were five, now it appears there are two again. The retention pond monsters and cousins of the legendary Tahoe Tessie were spotted Wednesday by Carson City Symphony Conductor David Bugli floating along in the slowly evaporating pond at Roop and Little.
The first sightings of Cassie and Capital Carl were in March.
Earlier this year there were five monsters in the pond, two adults and three little ones, but right around April 1, a shark was spotted in the water.
Those responsible for the pond monsters have remained anonymous and so, with that, the mystery continues.
